JRP Smart Energy was founded to solve a specific problem: electric two- and three-wheeler owners were replacing lead-acid banks every year or two, and the lithium packs available to them were assembled from ungraded cells with whatever management board was cheapest that month. The failures were predictable and the warranties were not worth much.
The response was to bring the whole chain in-house — cell grading, module assembly, BMS integration, testing and validation — so that a pack failing in the field can be traced to a decision somebody made, and that decision can be changed.
