The standards we build to, and how we hold ourselves to them.
Building to a standard and holding a certificate are different things. We build to the relevant standards now; the certificates are being pursued and their status is published on the certifications page without embellishment.
How the standard is kept
Documented process
Each production stage has a defined pass condition rather than a judgement call.
Serial traceability
Test results are recorded against the pack serial, so a field failure can be traced to its batch and its build.
Corrective action
A field failure changes the process, not just the individual pack. That is the only reason to keep records.
